In the month of October 2008 the SCOPE began its tailoring, embroidery, jardoshi & other income generating skills-classes for women and school dropout girls from the neighbouring villages of Perne Phata (on the Pune-Nagar highway)
The classes initially began in the office of the SCOPE due to lack of bigger place. The girls belong to all types of communities( caste, creed is no barrier). Every batch has to come regularly for classes for two months. After the completion of the period the students are awarded with certificates.
